Reservation Policy – All reservation requests, changes and cancellations must be sent in writing (via fax or email) to the reservations department. The request should include your name, number of persons in your party (children and adults), dates of arrival and departure, type of villa (main villa, mini-suite or both), and name of the company and contact person. These policies apply to the villa and related packages.

The reservations department will receive your inquiry and respond via fax or email. Once the details of your reservation have been agreed upon, the reservations department will advise you of the payment deadlines according to the policy and will send you an invoice and credit card authorization. To make your reservation effective, you need to send the required deposit within 48 hours via credit card.
If you wish to pay by wire transfer or check, those arrangements will be pre-agreed upon with our reservations department.

If the payment deadline passes without payment, Cocotal Vista del Mar S.A reserves the right to cancel the reservation that has not been paid in advance.

For all reservations 50% deposit is due upon receipt of our email confirmation or fax confirmation of the payment deadlines. All reservations must be prepaid 100% 60 days prior to the arrival date except for reservations made within the 30-day period prior to arrival. In that case, the full amount is due immediately. For Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years, 100% of the payment must be made by October 31st. Reservations made after October 31st must be 100% prepaid at time of reservation. For other peak periods such as Easter/Holy Week, reservations made on or after January 31st must be paid in full at the time the reservation is made. This applies to individual or group reservations.

Maximum occupancy per villa: The main villa may have up to 10 guests, including children and a maximum of two people in the mini suite plus a baby.

Arrival time is 2:00 pm and departure time is 11:30pm. In the event that departures is after 03:00 pm, Cocotal Vista del Mar S.A. will charge 50% of the price of one nights stay or an entire night if the Villa is occupied after 6:00 p.m.

Cancellation Policy – All deposits are non-refundable. If medical emergency prevent the guest(s) from traveling, all monies on deposit will remain on account for a period of one year allowing the guest to rebook at a future date at the prevailing rates and subject to availability.

Security Deposit –  At check in, we will request a signed credit card voucher. The voucher would be utilized in lieu of a security deposit for any damage or losses to villa property during your occupancy of the villa. At check out, the voucher will be returned when our staff conducts the check out walk through.
